Careful planning and coordination were essential for the successful delivery and installation of this 10-metre-long FBS unit in All Cannings, one of the largest projects completed by our team in recent months.
Access to the site presented a significant challenge, with tight passageways and narrow farm roads requiring every stage of the delivery and installation to be carefully managed.
Working alongside KRG Transport Ltd for the specialist delivery and Dan’s Engineering Ltd, who fabricated the supporting frame, the unit was safely transported from our Bridgwater facility and successfully positioned on site.
The project demonstrates the benefits of off-site manufacture for complex infrastructure projects, allowing more work to be completed within a controlled environment before delivery. This helps reduce time spent on site, improve safety and minimise disruption during installation.
From manufacture through to final placement, the All Cannings project is another example of BWC delivering large-scale engineering solutions in challenging site conditions.
